LUSH Spa Experience

Hey there!

It’s me again. Just a quick post today but I just had to share because today was magical.

I guess one of the many perks of working for LUSH is that I was invited for a complimentary LUSH Spa treatment today. Now if you had no idea that LUSH had a spa then I suggest you go straight over to their website right away and look up the treatments because I have never felt so amazing. They have a few spa locations over the UK, and also a few internationally. I don’t want to give too much away because it really was fantastic and there was so many little extra touches that I don’t want to spoil for you, but I was up bright and early this morning to head up to Liverpool for my Synaesthesia treatment – LUSH’s signature spa treatment – and every moment was worth it, and made personal to me. The spa itself was so cute and rustic, and there was so much attention to detail. Though I must give credit to the staff at LUSH Liverpool because I felt like an absolute celeb the whole time. They were genuine and caring, and just generally fantastic at making you feel comfortable despite the fact I was pretty much naked with a stranger rubbing oils over my body. We were never rushed to do anything, and after our treatment we had tea and water, and were given time to relax, come back to the real world, and even shower if we wanted. There was a bathroom full of LUSH goodies to use, and products from the Emotional Brilliance range so we could fix/apply our makeup. Again, I’ve never felt so relaxed so I thoroughly recommend. I’m already planning on taking my mum for the facial treatment in the new year for her birthday. I’m going to post some photos of the spa and if you have any questions do feel free to ask in the comments!

So there you go! Like I said, if you have any questions on the spa – or anything LUSH related for that matter – do leave a comment below and I’ll be happy to answer for you. Apologies if none of this makes sense, I still feel like a floppy little jellyfish. I’m not even kidding when I say I was so relaxed that when I had to stand up to get dressed again I thought I was going to fall down. Definitely 100% would recommend, I can’t rave about it enough. I am going to sleep like a baby (even more so than usual) tonight.

Take care guys and I’ll speak to you soon.

    • Of course! I actually wrote a post a while back about when I was applying to work at LUSH
      https://beckinablog.wordpress.com/2014/09/15/the-lush-interview-process/
So have a read of that if you like!
But generally LUSH only accept CVs/applications when theyre hiring, and they usually do around the end of the summer for their christmas temp positions – thats the best way to get in the company because usually at the end of your temp contract you can reapply to be kept on as permanent staff if you like.
Just be creative in your cv/cover letter, and really express why you want to work for lush. talk about their ethics and products and why you like the company, and make it really personal to yourself and lush. They’re less bothered about grades and more concerned with whether you’re passionate about the company and whether youre a people person.
Best of luck with everything and I’m always here if you have more questions! 😀 x

    • Theres a couple photos in the post which shows all the treatments and pricing, but they range from £40 right up to £285, so there’s a bit of everything. They are a little more pricy than a regular spa I guess, but check it out on the LUSH website and see what you think. I think they have a few videos describing the different treatments (:
      thanks for reading. x

  1. That is so neat! I had no idea that Lush even did these sort of Spa treatments anyway. I’m glad to hear that you had a nice time! You really deserved it! ❤ xo

  2. The spa set up is gorgeous! Looks truly relaxing.
I had a quick google and it seems that we don’t have a Lush Spa here yet in Aus – but I’m keeping my eyes peeled for one now 🙂

    • It really was fantastic!! ❤
Aw that's a shame – hopefully they'll be opening more internationally, or if you're ever over this side of the world you should check it out!
      Thanks for reading. x
